Terms and Conditions
ZESTfood want your event to be a success and the best way to achieve this is to formulate a strong, honest and open relationship with you, the client, where communication is clear and expectations from both sides are understood from the outset. Below are our terms and conditions.
1. It is accepted that the order will be for a minimum number of 8 for the finger and fork buffets, and 20 for the canapé menu. Prices quoted are per head. Additional dishes can be added to each menu at an extra cost.
2. It is the responsibility of the client to confirm specific numbers within 7 days prior to the function otherwise food will be provided for the number of people confirmed at the time of booking.
3. A deposit is payable amounting to 50% of the final payment upon confirmation of booking. Deposits can be paid by cheque, cash or bank transfer.
4. If a booking is cancelled a proportion of the deposit is returnable upon the following basis:
- Cancellation prior to 7 days of the function 50% of deposit returned, cancellation with 7 days of the function no deposit will be returned.
5. The balance of the account should be settled on delivery of the order, unless agreed previously in writing, whereby an invoice will be raised for the balance. All invoices are to be settled within 14 days.
6. All prices include free local delivery, biodegradable plates/forks and napkins and the collection of any dirty serving dishes within a 5 mile radius of Bristol City Centre. Delivery and collection outside of a 5 mile radius will incur additional charges to be agreed at the time of booking.
7. The price includes delivery and setup of the order as above, however it does not include organisation, booking, setup and cleardown of the venue in general, this is down to the customer to arrange. We can organise this if required at an additional cost to be agreed at the time of booking.
8. If staff are required to remain on site to assist with serving after the initial delivery and setup this will incur an hourly staffing charge which will be agreed prior to the function date.
9. After the function ZESTfood expects the dirty crockery and equipment delivered to be stacked or placed in the crates provided ready for easy collection. Clearing up can incur an extra charge which will be determined at the time.
10. Breakages or loss of any service crockery used by the customer during the function which has been provided by ZESTfood will be charged back to the customer at market value.
11. All food is produced under the strict health and safety guidelines of the Food Standards Agency and our kitchens are licensed and inspected by Bristol City Council Food Safety Team. It is an agreed condition that all food produced for consumption at the function will only remain at above 8 degrees for a maximum total of 2 hours from the time when the food is first displayed. All food should be consumed within this period. * Please note ZESTfood accepts no liability for any food consumed after the stated 2 hour period.
12. The client should be aware that all food could contain traces of nuts.
13. All food is subject to availability, any food unable to be sourced will be replaced with a similar item.
